OpenSearchCon Europe 2024 was held in Berlin on May 6 & 7 2024.

It was organized by Kris Freedain and James McIntyre from OpenSearch Project, but also a number of Community members like Laysa Uchoa helped with the event.

Key Insights

Many developers are looking now at GenAI, features like using OpenSearch as a Vector Database or the Neural Search are the focus to build a next-gen searching engine. Some of the attendees shared production-ready experiences using these features, despite the technology is still on the initial steps.

 

It was a really nice conference: great content, perfect venue, supportive organization and awesome collaboration and sharing spirit everywhere!
