Hello guys, it is with a heavy heart that I am writing to you. I have been trying to install Alfresco Community for over 2 weeks using the zip distribution. Each time, I always have errors ... Here I almost finish the installation, and it is a Transform problem that I still have. There I am in need of alfresco-transformer-router.jar, alfresco-transformer-core.jar. When I dig through these three differents repositories https://artifacts.alfresco.com/nexus/content/repositories/releases/org/alfresco/ , https://artifacts.alfresco.com/nexus/content/groups/public/org/alfresco/ , https://artifacts.alfresco.com/nexus/content/repositories/snapshots/org/alfresco/ these jars are nonexistent ... I don't want to use Docker ... I'll end up believing that you don't want us to use the community version of Alfresco ... Please can someone help me get these jars and finally install Alfresco?
As far as I know for now alfresco-transform-router.jar is not suppoerted by the community version
You can install alfresco transformation aio first and tell alfresco to connect it directly whithout using alfresco-transformer-router in alfresco-global.properties
,like this
localTransform.core-aio.url=http://transform-core-aio:8090/
Hi Kaynezhang,
Thank you for your reply.
Now, In such case, which transform jars, must I install for running Alfresco and how to install them and use them in alfresco.properties so that its can work? Is only the alfresco transformation aio sufficient? or is there another package to install?
Please, if you have any tutorials about it, it will be very nice. Because, I tell you the truth, I am very tired to correct the errors. Thank you
I know this is a late reply, but for anyone else seeing this later docker is really the easiest and fastest way to get ACS stood up for testing/evaluation. Once you get a feel for how the various components relate and work together then I think you can take a stab at a standalone deployment. The packaging repository sheds a lot of light on how a particular community version is put together: https://github.com/Alfresco/acs-community-packaging
