Disabling Quick Share functionality

Hi folks,

I'm currently trying find out a way to disable system-wide the Quick Share functionality in Alfresco v5.2 and 6.1 (community)

According to this post, https://hub.alfresco.com/t5/ecm-archive/disabling-quick-share-functionality/m-p/66481, it looks like my problem has already been solved in this post https://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=47312#p140623

But the link doesn't work anymore.
Could someone help me please ?

Adding the following property to alfresco-global.properties, works.

system.quickshare.enabled=false

But the option is still visible in documents list, despite clicking the button shows a message telling the user that the feature is not available.

Additionally, you can use some Spring Surf overriding to hide these buttons in the pages.
