Is it possible to create a business object in Alfresco?

Hello!

Please tell me how to work with business objects in Alfresco Community Edition?

For example, I need to create an object with fields without using the content in the file and start a workflow process for it.

Business objects are content type in alfresco in general.Below is the link of OOB content model in alfresco.While defining content type you can select parent type as per your requirement.

Object 

You can check datalist model as well. Datalist model does not have any content associated with it.

We’ll think about a datalist, but this module still needs to be further developed to run processes for its entries.

Does the free version of Activity BPM have functionality for working with a DataModel? I saw this in Alfresco Process Services.
